Schools & Impact
Supporting Schools, Strengthening Culture & Shaping Lasting Change
Since 2018, Project Touchline has partnered with around 150 schools. The programme is relational and adaptable — designed to support each school’s unique vision, values and context.

What Schools Often Notice
Schools regularly report:
- calmer lunchtimes
- stronger pupil relationships
- increased encouragement and peer support
- greater confidence
- improved self-regulation
- more consistent values language
- healthier attitudes towards challenge
These changes frequently extend well beyond PE into classrooms, playgrounds and daily school life.
Impact Beyond Sport
The programme contributes to positive cultural shifts, including:
- stronger pupil voice and leadership
- deeper reflection and emotional awareness
- better inclusion and belonging
- more positive communication and behaviour
Staff often note improved relationships across year groups and a more consistent whole-school ethos.
Supporting School Vision
Project Touchline helps move values from wall displays into everyday reality. Through sport, worship and relationships, schools strengthen their Christian distinctiveness and overall culture.

Lasting Legacy
Schools frequently continue with:
- prayer clubs and prayer spaces
- reflective practices and stillness
- strengthened worship traditions
- their own symbolic prayer boats
These elements help sustain positive culture long after the programme ends.
Working In Partnership
Project Touchline collaborates closely with headteachers, RE and PE leads, chaplains, clergy and diocesan teams — supporting staff as well as pupils.
What Headteachers Say
“Values became visible, not just displayed on walls.”
— Headteacher
“Project Touchline has had an incredible impact on our school community… The legacy will continue to shape the way future generations engage with sport and with each other.”

Rooted In Whole-Person Development
Project Touchline supports the development of the whole child — physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
Ultimately, Project Touchline exists to help schools become healthy, flourishing communities where children and staff thrive together.
