Enabling, encouraging and empowering teachers
CPD for flourishing is centred on high-quality continuing professional development that supports teachers on their journey towards professional and personal flourishing. Project Touchline empowers, encourages, and equips educators through live modelling of innovative, values-driven physical education lessons. This includes practical demonstrations of how Christian values can be embedded meaningfully within sports such as rugby and cricket in school contexts.
Teachers are further supported through accessible legacy resources, including recorded videos, which enable consistent and sustainable delivery of a values-driven curriculum over time. The programme aligns with the Teachers’ Standards by supporting improved pupil outcomes alongside professional development. It also reflects the expectations of Ofsted and SIAMS by promoting high-quality teaching, strong ethos development, and excellence in both education and school life.

Teachers experience flourishing through paired with student outcomes, creating a sustainable curriculum improvement model, unlike short-term interventions with no lasting impact. As educators continue to experience growth, they engage in values driven education practices that reinforce their roles as teachers. Lessons are values first and content second, contributing a significant change in a teacher’s career.
Teachers rooted in values – A teacher observes us leading a values-driven cricket session, integrating Christian values like respect and teamwork. Using the instructional video, the teacher replicates the lesson, embedding these values, which are essential for flourishing as a teacher practitioner. To ensure teacher flourishing, in future lessons they apply SMSC (Spiritual, Moral, Social, Cultural) principles, fostering pupils’ personal development. This aligns with Teachers’ Standards and Ofsted’s and SIAMS expectations for holistic education.
