Year 2 Teacher – Crockham Hill C of E Primary School, Kent

It is a wonderful way to reinforce our four values and our parable of the Sower. There is an incredible buzz about all of them and children are using the terms in general conversations. In RE lessons, links have been made to what they learned on the big field and how it might link to a religious life. The prayer club was an incredibly valuable experience; one child said “ I love prayer club, because my day stops and I just think about me and God.” My class thoroughly enjoyed the games. The children became much better at listening and showing good sportsmanship over the weeks, as the school values of resilience, respect, aspiration and empathy were instilled.
