Lunchtime Prayer Club

Every school we work with there is an aspiration to plant a pioneering Lunchtime Prayer Club. It is a place for children to sit, a place to be still, a place of peace, a place to pray, a place to listen, a place to rejoice, a place to release, a place to reach out, a place to meet God. The club takes place during lunchtime with an adult leading for fifteen minutes. During the programme it is led by Chris Andrew from week two to six. The real aspiration is that prayer club continues by a parent, member of the local church, reader/licensed lay minister, vicar or teacher after the programme finishes in Week 6.

Between April and July 2021, over 200 children attended prayer club voluntarily.

From September 2021, prayer clubs will continue in eight schools initially.
