Real impact

Read this inspiring post-lockdown testimonial from Amanda Greenow-LangfordHead Teacher at Lindridge St Lawrence C of E Primary School in the Diocese of Worcester.

I wanted to say a huge thank you for bringing Project Touchline to our lovely school here at Lindridge St Lawrence. It has had a profound impact on both staff and children, who have thoroughly engaged with the programmed enjoyed learning about the connection between faith, sport and our school values.

It has brought to life how we can connect with God through prayer and sport and how by living our school values out we can achieve our vision of discovering life in its fullness. The project certainly came at the right time for Lindridge, “it was meant to be’, with the lockdown to recover from. Project Touchline has been the perfect vehicle to reconnect with God, themselves and each other.

The reflection time and prayer has provided opportunities for us all to be still and really appreciate who we are and all that we have.

The sport has encouraged the re-establishing of friendships, teamwork and sportsmanship. The singing and worship has brought joy to our hearts a we’ve celebrated our time each week together.

We will all miss you, your friendly manner, and your huge smile. You have brought joy to our Fridays and left us an amazing legacy to live by and continue with. To live every as the best day, to know that God is always with us and the importance of loving kindness to each other.

God bless you and thank you. We look forward to seeing you agin soon.
