Generation to Generation (Gen2)
Project Touchline is supporting Canon Pete White, Director of Children & Youth and Charlotte Nobbs, Children’s Mission Enabler with the Diocese of Peterborough to find new pioneering ways to benefit the Growing Faith adventure there and especially supporting churches to engage with their local schools.
Growing Faith is a Church of England initiative that promotes a partnership between the three living communities of church, school and home to enable the discovery, exploration and growth of faith for all in those communities. Project Touchline supports Growing Faith through its lunchtime prayer clubs in every school that we work.
Project Touchline has been working with three schools in the diocese.
Revd Katrina Hutchins playing Cricket with Project Touchline and Mears Ashby C of E Primary School.
Revd Michelle Cotton and Chris Andrew have been supporting one another to embed a longterm Lunchtime Prayer Club at Freeman’s Endowed Church of England Primary School in Wellingborough where over 38 children attended during June/July 2021.
BBC Radio Northampton
Martin Heath, who is a presenter at BBC Radio Northampton, joined the school to find out all about Project Touchline and their Christian Values. He spoke to Chris Andrew, Fiona Hull, headteacher and a range of children to see how Project Touchline is making a difference through teaching Christian values, faith and rugby at school.
